Finishing the year with a 4.5 mile run through the misty air is satisfying. December has been an interesting month of running. Returning from an injury has taught me quite a bit about running and training. Listening to my body is important. Next weekend I will start running with the Grand Rapids Running Club down at John Ball Park to get ready for the Riverbank Run.
Happy New Year – I am thankful to have friends to run and “compete” with through life – we will hopefully all be healthier and happier as a result!
